Zen Introduces Paron as Distributor in South Korea for Green Stage and Swing Stage Moving Floors

Zen, a leading provider of innovative golf technology, has announced a new partnership with Paron in South Korea. The company will be showcasing its industry-leading Green Stage and Swing Stage moving floors at the Maekyung SBS Golf Expo in Seoul’s COEX Exhibition Center from Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st April 2024.

Paron founders Jeongho Cho, Changgi Kim, and their team will be joined by a delegation from Zen’s UK headquarters, including Managing Director Andy Hiseman and Product Manager George Stubbs. Eric Lynge from Sporting Insights Asia, Zen’s advisors in the Asia Pacific region, will also be present at the Expo.

Jeongho Cho expressed his excitement about introducing Zen technology to the Korean market, stating that Zen’s technology is the clear leader in independent moving playing surfaces in the golf market. He believes that the Green Stage and Swing Stage will revolutionize coaching and golf entertainment in Korea.

Andy Hiseman highlighted the strategic timing of the partnership with Paron, emphasizing the unique business model that Paron has developed to introduce Zen technology to the South Korean market. He mentioned the mobile app that will offer bookable Zen Green Stage putting sessions to driving range operators in Korea.

Zen’s Adaptive Terrain Technology (ATT) has been a game-changer in the golf industry, with the Green Stage bringing indoor putting on realistic gradients to the sport. The company’s collaboration with Sky TV for the Open Championship broadcast in 2017 won a BAFTA award. The Swing Stage, introduced in 2022, offers Tour-quality variable playing surfaces for both putting and hitting, enhancing indoor and range golf technologies.

Eric Lynge praised South Korea’s growth as a global golf powerhouse and expressed excitement about the introduction of Zen technology to the market. The Zen Swing Stage for hitting shots from sloping lies starts at £14,950 + VAT, while the adjustable Zen Green Stage for putting starts at £23,795 + VAT.
