Albertsons and Kroger have revealed their plans to sell off a number of stores to C&S Wholesale Grocers as part of their proposed merger deal. The companies are aiming to ease anti-trust concerns by divesting 579 stores, with specific details on the Idaho locations now available.

In Idaho, Albertsons currently operates 44 stores, with ten of them set to be transferred to C&S Wholesale Grocers. The companies must win each case in order to meet the October deadline for finalizing the deal, or Albertsons could walk away with a $600 million breakup fee.
