Larry’s Tax Law Celebrates 11 Years of Sharing Knowledge with Tax Professionals

Larry, a seasoned tax professional, embarked on a new journey in the digital publishing world on March 11, 2013, with the launch of Larry’s Tax Law. Now, more than a decade later, the blog has become a valuable resource for accountants, tax attorneys, and other tax professionals, with over 225 substantive articles covering a wide range of tax topics.

In the past 4,063 days, Larry has shared insights on new tax legislation, cases, rulings, tax policy, and practical tax issues. Leveraging platforms like LinkedIn and JD Supra, Larry has reached a diverse audience, with his articles garnering over 91,000 reads since January 2021 from industries such as accounting, construction, technology, and more.

Reflecting on some of the most interesting articles he has written, Larry highlights topics like “My Dog Ate the S Election, Now What?” and “Do Olympians Owe Taxes on the Value of Their Medals.” These articles have not only helped Larry gain a better understanding of tax law but have also engaged and informed his readers.

Larry expresses his gratitude to his loyal readers, especially the Oregon Society of CPAs, for their support over the years. He looks forward to continuing to share knowledge with tax professionals and hopes that Larry’s Tax Law will continue for many more years to come.

Stay tuned for the upcoming post in Larry’s multi-part series, A Journey Through Subchapter S, as he continues to educate and inform his audience on complex tax matters.
