GBBC Digital Finance Joins IOSCO as Affiliate Member and Plans Collaboration on Crypto-Asset Roadmap Working Groups

GBBC Digital Finance (GDF) has recently made a significant move by joining the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) as an Affiliate Member. IOSCO is a global standard setter for the securities sector, bringing together securities regulators from around the world to develop and promote internationally recognized standards for securities regulation.

Lawrence Wintermeyer, Chair of GBBC Digital Finance, expressed the importance of this milestone, stating that it will provide opportunities for collaboration with IOSCO on key initiatives such as the Crypto-Asset Roadmap working groups. Emma Joyce, CEO of GBBC Digital Finance, highlighted the organization’s focus on engaging with regulators and policymakers in 2023, as well as exploring opportunities for collaboration with the IOSCO regional hub.
