Ben Woolf Named Chairperson of International Advisory Board for University of Colorado Real Estate Center
University of Colorado real estate alumnus Ben Woolf is stepping into a new role as chairperson for the International Advisory Board (IAB) for the University of Colorado Real Estate Center (CUREC), marking nearly two decades of giving back to his alma mater.
Woolf, who earned his MBA with a real estate focus from the Leeds School of Business in 2004, expressed his sense of responsibility to give back to CUREC, Leeds, and the students by taking on this leadership position. He emphasized the impact that CUREC has had on both students and the real estate industry, acknowledging that he wouldn’t be where he is today without the center.
The IAB, comprised of C-suite leaders from top real estate firms, plays a crucial role in supporting the academic and co-curricular work of CUREC. Members of the board provide counsel, mentorship, financial support, and career opportunities for the program, contributing to the success of both Leeds and CUREC.
Julie Gibson, executive director of CUREC, praised Woolf’s commitment and involvement with CU since his graduation, highlighting his strategic approach and the impact he has had on students and alumni. Woolf’s experience as co-founder and director of commercial investments for Conscience Bay Company, a private equity firm focused on real estate assets in Colorado, brings valuable industry insights to his new role.
Having served on the CUREC alumni board for 15 years and the advisory board since 2023, Woolf’s extensive experience and dedication make him a highly respected and valuable addition to the IAB. His past roles within the CU Real Estate Foundation and as president of the Leeds MBA alumni board further demonstrate his commitment to the university and its real estate program.
As Woolf takes on this new challenge as chairperson of the IAB, the University of Colorado Real Estate Center can look forward to continued growth and success under his leadership.
