Grayscale Investments Sets Record Date for Initial Distribution of Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust

STAMFORD, Conn., July 08, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Grayscale Investments®, known as the world’s largest crypto asset manager, has made a significant announcement regarding the creation and distribution of shares of the Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust (ETH Trust). The company has set a record date of July 18, 2024, for the initial distribution of shares to shareholders of Grayscale Ethereum Trust (ETHE).

The ETH Trust will be listed on NYSE Arca under the ticker symbol “ETH” once regulatory approvals are obtained. Shareholders of ETHE as of 4:00 PM ET on the Record Date will receive shares of the ETH Trust based on a 1:1 ratio. Each ETHE shareholder will receive one ETH Share for every ETHE Share held.

The Initial Distribution will see ETHE contribute 10% of the Ether it holds to the ETH Trust. The Distribution Date, when shareholders will see both ETHE Shares and ETH Shares in their portfolios, is subject to regulatory review and conditions being met.
